FiberLight and Clearview Bring Optical Connectivity to Waco

FiberLight, LLC announced a partnership with Clearview for providing secure, high-speed optical transport to customersbetween Waco and other metro areas. FiberLight (News - Alert ) is a metro optical solutions provider.

The city of Waco fallswithin the growing 2,100-mile long-haul network of FiberLight covering Dallas,Plano, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christie, McAllen, andLaredo. Clearview’s WacoInformation Technology Gateway (News -Alert) (ITG) is a secure data center with disasterrecovery and business continuity capabilities. The Waco ITG is located 80 milessouth of Dallas. It is designed to withstand natural and manmade disasters andis located on an exclusive power grid. This is advantageous as it is separatedfrom Texas’ major city systems and so will not be affected by blackouts and brownouts.
