Clearview Managed Services opens data center in North Dallas
With 55% capacity already sold, the trend to high-value managed services continues

Dallas, TX, April 25, 2008 -- Clearview Managed Services announced today the opening of its newest data center. The center is the new home of applications and mission-critical data for large, mid-size and small companies competing in energy, distribution, financial and high-tech industries. The new center will create new employment opportunities in North Dallas and fills a critical need for quality data center space in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

“North Dallas is a great location central to the headquarters of many of the world’s top companies,” said Clearview Partner Clay Hill. “But the icing on this cake is the layout and physical security the space provides for our clients.”

The center sits on the footprint of a former Fortune 500 global data center and has been updated with N+1 redundancy, dual-fed utility power with dual substations, an uninterrupted power supply battery and generator backup. It has completed a SAS 70 Type II audit and has multiple layered security that includes key code, card swipe, biometric hand scan and physical security guard checks.

“Clearview is bringing a real value to this market. Other providers are scrambling to find power and reselling at a premium. At Clearview we have planned our resources to deliver density-rich environments designed leveraging our 12 years of IT Consulting experience. By doing this, we are able to plan for the future of both Clearview and our end users,” said Jay Looney, Clearview partner.

David Glasscock of Colliers International brokered the deal. “Finding a space that had once been a data center gave Clearview a tremendous advantage. Rather than spending time and effort on new construction, Clearview put that energy into building one of the most current and secure centers in the region.”
